For over 30 years and through seven Governors’ Administrations, she has advanced the interests of meeting the needs of women business owners, with the Legislature and the state's top regulatory officials.

This historic bill requires that all publicly-traded corporations headquartered in California add a seat for a woman on their Board of Directors.

Ms. Kammerer serves as an advisor to several Boards, Commissions and State Department Task Forces including the California Commission on Health & Safety & Workers' Compensation, California State Council of Laborers, Department of General Services’ Small Business Advisory Council, EDD’s Small Business Employer Advisory Council, and the Assembly Jobs, Economic Development and the Economy Committee’s Roundtable. She was one of the first women accepted for membership in the Sutter Club in 2000 which at the time, was an all-male Club. Since 2014, she has served on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Women Business Owners – Sacramento Valley Chapter as VP of Public Policy, and also serves as the Legislative Advisor to NAWBO-CA.
