LORI C. KAMMERER is nationally recognized as a leading authority on policy issues affecting California businesses of all sizes, including start-up, micro and small businesses, and corporations that have a significant presence in our state. For over 30 years and through seven Governors’ Administrations, she has advanced the interests of meeting the needs of women business owners, with the Legislature and the state's top regulatory officials.

Most notably, Kammerer was the Lobbyist on Senate Bill 826 (Jackson), sponsored by the National Association of Women Business Owners California (NAWBO CA), and signed by Governor Brown on September 30, 2018. This historic bill requires that all publicly-traded corporations headquartered in California add a seat for a woman on their Board of Directors.

Ms. Kammerer serves as an advisor to several Boards, Commissions and State Department Task Forces including the California Commission on Health & Safety & Workers' Compensation, California State Council of Laborers, Department of General Services’ Small Business Advisory Council, EDD’s Small Business Employer Advisory Council, and the Assembly Jobs, Economic Development and the Economy Committee’s Roundtable. She was one of the first women accepted for membership in the Sutter Club in 2000 which at the time, was an all-male Club. Since 2014, she has served on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Women Business Owners – Sacramento Valley Chapter as VP of Public Policy, and also serves as the Legislative Advisor to NAWBO-CA. She earned her BA degree in Business and Communications from Pepperdine University and selected as the graduating class speaker.
