Tamra Rogers (BA WJU, CMEA, MTNA) holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music, vocal performance emphasis, from William Jessup University. She has taught piano and voice for over 30 years, and currently owns and operates Tamraloo Studios, voted Lincoln and Sacramento’s Best Music Instruction 6 years in a row. Tamraloo Studios employees over 50 individuals and serves a student population of approximately 500, offering education in both performing art and academic tutoring. She also currently serves as CEO/Artistic Director of The Stage, a 501c3 non profit theatre company. An accomplished collaborative pianist, choral conductor, vocal coach and music director, Tamra has accompanied multiple church, community, and university choirs, as well as conducted children’s and adult choruses in both the Pacific Northwest and Northern California and coached vocalists all over the area. She had vocal directed for multiple ensembles in the area including CYT, Serving Hearts Productions, The Stage, and McLaughlin Theatre Company. She most recently lent her talents onstage as Judy Bernley in RCT's production of 9 to 5 and as Musical Director offstage for William Jessup's production of Music Man, as well as Director for the entire Summer 2022 Stage children’s workshop series. She is a multiple SARTA Elly award winner, for both her musical direction and performance roles. She sings professionally as a Soprano in the Merrie Olde Christmas Carolers and in local Glen Miller tribute band Moonlight Swing. Tamie is passionate about community service and has served as president of the PTA, women’s ministry, and currently is involved with the Downtown Lincoln Association, Soroptomists of Lincoln, Lincoln 4th of July Foundation, and more. As head of Tamraloo Studios, Tamie hires, trains, and mentors her instructors as well as heads up and instructs vocals for the Tamraloo TADA program.
